About Anne Reese

Photo of Anne Reese

Anne received her Bachelor's Degree in photography from The Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio. Shortly after college Anne relocated to the Hudson Valley area of New York. For a few years she worked freelance as a photo assistant, prop stylist, and professional photo retoucher for some of the top food photographers, stylists, and agencies in New York City.

From there, Anne spent the next three years working full-time as the Digital Asset Manager and Photographer for The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York. While working at the CIA, Anne was fortunate enough to have met and photographed some of the most well-known chefs in the industry along with their food. She took full advantage of her opportunities at the CIA and left New York with greater understanding and mastery of her two true passions-food and photography.

Anne now lives in Ohio with her husband John, an artisan cheese maker and graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. Currently, they are in process of building their own artisan creamery which will also house Anne's photo studio with commercial kitchen.
